Iron on poodle (or Christmas appliqué of choice) to center of pocket. 7. Topstitch pocket to apron using a zigzag stitch. 8. Using a straight stitch, topstitch bias tape (on both sides) around raw edges of lace and pocket. Be sure to fold the bias tape under at the top of each pocket side. 9. Fold and pin the four apron pleats at waist and topstitch to hold.
