Minor changes in the dimensions appeared in Change 5of 10 April 1958 to Uniform Regulations 1951. These dimensions were given as: "The insignia shall measure 2" from tip to tip of wings; the circular shield shall be 3/8" in diameter; total height of shield and silver background beneath 9/16"; the scroll shall be 3/4" long and 1/4" wide; centered over the shield, each end to rest on top ofwings.
