A prominent member of Theodore Thomas' Orchestra, made a dramatic ending to his somewhat eventful life last night. He called together practically all his friends and gave them a grand musical entertainment. Then he shot himself through the head. The suicide occurred at 10:20 o'clock at No. 347 Elm Street, where Mr. Andersen was living. One of the invited guests was Miss Frances Streigel, No. 410 Dearborn Avenue. Andersen killed himself virtually at her feet. Many of his acquaintances declare Andersen was the fiance of Miss Streigel, but her friends deny this.
